"What's this? A notebook?" Another one snatched it from you, looked at it and grunted. Even from afar, I could see the fear in your eyes. I frowned. "You don't need this." He tore it apart, letting the pages fall freely onto the ground.
"Yeah, you need a wheelchair!" The first boy said and pushed you again.
"HEY, STOP THAT!"
"Ruka?" I can't stop looking at you, how on Earth could I bump into you? It's like a miracle! "Ruka? Are you alright?"
"Oh, er... Huh?" I shake my head and blush.
The boys left after I scared them away, I'm after all the principal's daughter. "Are you alright?" I knelt down, frowning. All I could hear was sobs and sniffling. "Hey, it's okay now, they're gone..." I said in my softest voice, sitting down alongside. "Tissue?"
"Thank you..." You replied weakly. It took you about 15 minutes to calm down.
"Are you feeling better?" You nodded.
"Thank you, Tennou-san."
"You know my name!" I myself didn't realize how wide the smile was on my face.
"You're quite famous throughout this school."
"Hm, can't deny that." I wasn't a cheeky person but I did that to cheer you up, and you did. You started to smile a little and I was relieved. You turned to me and offered a handshake. You smiled wider even with your swollen eyes.
"I'm Kaiou Michiru."
"You never change, Ruka. I remember how you look at me last time, it's the same way you're looking at me now..." You smile, brushing my hair with your fingers. I miss your touch.
"So um..." I cleared my throat.
"Hm?" It was already hard for me to take in each and every single detail of you and yet you come nearer to me, smiling more.
"How have you been?"
"I'm actually working at a salon right now..."
"Oh, so you did went after your dream." I chuckle.
"Yeah..." You reply, playing with the leftovers on your plate. "how about you?" I grin, then mimic the racing bike engine sound. "A racer? My, Ruka... I knew you could do it since the beginning~" It was all thanks to you Michiru, if I hadn't met you, I wonder where I would be right now.

We spent the next 2 hours just talking about our past and present. I think I laughed the most within this 2 hours than I ever did in the past 6 years. We've exchanged numbers, but will you call me like you promised to? I hug my knees, bringing them closer to my chest. I'll be waiting, like I used to...
